Recently, I have been taking a screen printing class and it reminded me of the time when I took printmaking in college. This illustration is a linoleum cut that I printed in black and white and then used for an editorial magazine spread about Gutenberg’s invention – the printing press. The original linoleum cut was huge, like 18X24 and it took days to carve out. Fun times:). The illustration represents the process of coming up with ideas, and symbolizes a light bulb. I think it is still relevant, what do you think?
